Tuscany Valley Alpacas is a small family-owned farm located in rural northwest Alabama. We have purchased a few elite alpacas over the past 2 years including 4 females: A.L Paca's Ka-La, Snowmass Matrix Joy, Derwydd Manchu's Suyana (co-owned with Stoney Ridge Alpacas) and Derwydd Accoyo Nusta. We also purchased ½ interest in two elite males: Ringo Cloud and A.L.Paca's Whirlpool Galaxy. We have recently purchased 1/2 interest in six elite alpacas from A. L. Paca's, one of which just won Judge's Choice at VAOBA (Sheer Bliss).
Carol is a ER physician and is the current Medical Director at a hospital Emergency Department here in Alabama. While not a vet, she has much insight to the health needs of the herd. She owns an ultrasound machine and does these exams on sight. She is also able to do our own fecal studies and IgG's. She places microchips and pulls blood for various reasons. Ben is retired and oversees the farm and employees. Meghyan Wiginton works at Tuscany Valley Alpacas full time.
