Ameripaca's Anastasia is a dark silver grey proven female. Her sire is Champ, an amazing true black herdsire who was the Grand Champion of Bolivia before he came to the USA. Anastasia comes from a lovely rose grey dam, and has become a wonderful mother herself. Anastasia was bred to MFI Jaguar and had a true black female cria Oct 2008, Lucy, was sold at the 2010 Breeder's Edge Auction. Earthshaker's Georgia is a beautiful cross between Valeroso and Accoyo Plantel genetics! Georgia's AFD was 20.9 at 18 months of age! She was bred to Accoyo American Sinbad from Seldom Scene Farm, has been described as having one of the best white fleeces in the nation; delivered a solid white female cria May 2011 who has silky, fine, curly fleece. Keep your eye on her; we named her TVA Delanna.
MFI Carolanna has an exciting color background. On her dam’s side, Catherine’s Colette is black. Her grandmother, Catherine, is a medium silver grey/dark rose grey, and her grandsire, 4Peruvian Matador, is a solid black. Her sire is DPA Quetzal, a beautiful medium fawn Timoteo so who has sired many prolific show-winners such as MFI Peruvian Jaguar. Her grand sire on her sire’s side is the famous Accoyo Pperuvian Timoteo, who produced many beautiful offspring in a variety of colors! If you are breeding for grey, oftentimes the way to the best grey fleeces is to incorporate fawn into the pedigree, which has already been done for Carolanna!
Jaguar's Lindy. Her sire is the multichampion MFI Peruvian Jaguar. Her dam is our CT Pink. This is a beautiful girl with very nice fleece and a wonderful personality. She carries grey genetics on her dam's side and her sire throws color despite being fawn. She is currently bred to Snowmass Matrix Quest for an early 2012 cria.
MFI Chocolate Cream has a very true-to-alpaca phenotype. She is a beautiful light fawn with solid conformation and very nice fleece. Her sire is MFI Peruvian Sparticus; when bred to light colors, he produces colorful crias with excellent crimp and phenotype! Chocolate Cream's grand-sire is 4Peruvian Matador, sire of Peruvian Black Mesquite who has produced so many champions! She has been bred to Prince Phillip of Double O Good Alpacas for an April 2012 cria.
CT Pink came from Chase Tavern Alpaca Farm in Maine. She is actually an Appaloosa with grey being her background color. Her sire is Silver Thunder who is a medium silver grey macho. Silver Thunder's sire is the pure Bolivian, glossy jet black Black Thunder.
Pink has had several cria and has proven to be a wonderful mother. Her most recent cria is a bay black male, Captain Dan, out of SRAF The Night Hawk (AKA Rudy).
Steel's Peruvian Rose, is a beautiful full-Peruvian dark rose grey girl with one of the calmest personalities we have seen. She has a solid conformation and was called "your best over-all grey" by a well-respected show judge. She was bred to Belleauwood's American President and had a true black female April 2011. We named her TVA Tessa.
Gene is a nice medium brown girl out of Wicka (Mr. Know It All daughter) and MFI Peruvian Earthshaker. She has soft, buttery fine fiber.
Gretchen is the first of the wonderful rose-grey females from Clementine, our consistent female grey producer, and Tambo, our grey and female producing herd sire who passed away in September 2008. Gretchen is a devoted mom and would be a bonus addition to your herd--the grey genes from both parents are outstanding.
Lucy is a great milk producing mom and has thrown grey and dark color crias.
Rosemary is fawn with grey dam and sire. There is great potential to throw grey if bred correctly.
